Criteria

The SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust considers applications from community and charitable organisations involved in the following activities:

• Community projects that provide care, treatment or counselling, teach life-skills and provide educational programmes or research.
• Projects that promote the arts, culture and entertainment in New Zealand. Including promotion, recognition and understanding of different cultures living in New Zealand.

Because more funds are likely to be requested than the Trust has available for distribution, priority will be given to:

• Organisations whose funding application is for a specific purpose or project.
• Organisations that can prove their ability to plan and undertake activities effectively, and account for funds provided
• Organisations that are striving for self-reliance, and are able to make some financial contribution to the project
• Organisations able to show a real need for Trust support
• Organisations that have pursued other avenues of funding and fundraising
