We offer a two to three year paid Apprenticeship in Food and Beverage, working towards two National Certificates at Level 3 and 4.

Throughout your apprenticeship, SKYCITY offers in-house training courses that will allow you to progress your career. You'll be presented with opportunities to attend courses that teach skills related to your field of work.

Your apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to gain work experience in a variety of restaurants and bars in the SKYCITY complex. You will be on a rotation between the restaurants and bars so every day will be different, as each has their own atmosphere and style.

Keep earning while you're learning when you attend block courses at the Manukau Institute of Technology. These courses allow you to have a sole focus on the theory involved with your Apprenticeship.
