Gaming Machines and Casino Marketing

This team is a fundamental part of SKYCITY as the staff are responsible for providing fun and entertainment to thousands of patrons every day. We have 1647 gaming machines on the casino floor with a dedicated team of staff who ensure visitors to the casino enjoy their experiences.

Table Games

Table Games has more than 700 staff and more than 100 tables including Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker and more. Table Games caters to a range of visitors, from professional poker players (during our competitions) to tourists looking for a fun night out.

SKYCITY Hotels Group

This team runs both of the SKYCITY hotels, the Sky Tower, Convention Centre, restaurants, bars, retail centres and corporate functions. We have a wide variety of talented people delivering memorable experiences to our visitors daily, including receptionists, concierge, housekeepers, tower hosts, waiters, bartenders, baristas and much, much more.

Kitchen Operations

The kitchens at SKYCITY Auckland encompass a variety of different cooking styles, employing over 200 chefs and 70 kitchen stewards. A career in kitchen operations at SKYCITY Auckland will expose you to New Zealand’s most diverse single site operation which includes 15 different food & beverage outlets. We have a large multi-cultural kitchen brigade with chefs drawn from all over the world. You will gain experience working alongside some of the industry’s most talented and knowledgeable chefs.

Support Services

Support Services is a huge department. Jobs available are wide-ranging and cater for a variety of employees; from those beginning a career in maintenance to staff who are highly specialised in their field of expertise such as tradespeople and surveillance officers.

Support Services manage building and equipment maintenance, the provision of cleaning services, security and surveillance, car parking and a range of other functions.

Information Technology

SKYCITY is a high level IT employer with specialists in a number of fields. Our IT team offers technical support to everyone at SKYCITY. From implementing new systems to maintaining existing systems and supporting technology users through the IT Service Desk, they really are here to help. Their areas of expertise include computer equipment, telecommunications, software, business intelligence, gaming, loyalty and support services technology, as well as other technologies. Our dynamic IT team ensures key systems like PeopleSoft, Micros, CRM, Opera, Clarity, and many others are there to keep the business humming.
