Registration, No Shows & Cancellation

  • Registration is on a "first come, first in" basis. Online registrations for this tournament will close 2 hours before the start of the tournament. Any remaining seats will be available for sale “in-room”.
  • Entries will be valid only on receipt of full payment of the applicable entry fee (other than in respect of entries won) and completion of the applicable registration form.
  • Entry fees paid by credit card will be charged to an entrant's credit card account on receipt of the relevant registration form. All fees include GST (if applicable). Please note that payment by credit card will incur an additional 2% credit card surcharge fee.
  • Cheques will be deposited into SKYCITY's bank account on receipt.
  • Entrants not present at the start of a tournament will be deemed to be "no shows" and will forfeit their applicable entry fees, which may be used to maintain the relevant prize structure. Any stacks where a “no show” has been declared will remain in play and all antes, blinds and forced bets shall be deducted until such time as the owner of the stack arrives or the stack no longer has any chips available to play. During this time, the “no show” stack will be deemed as an “11th” seat on a 10 seat table until the player arrives to play.
  • All cancellation requests should be directed to the Poker Manager at poker@skycity.co.nz. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the relevant tournament, your entry fee will be refunded to the credit or debit card from which the original payment was made, by cheque, or by chips, less a 10% administration fee. If you cancel 24 hours or less prior to the tournament start time or are refused entry to the tournament upon arrival, you will not be entitled to a refund and your entry fee will be forfeited.
  • SKYCITY reserves the right at any time to refuse the registration form or entry of any entrant; to refuse to award any prize to any entrant; to alter any of these Terms or Conditions without notice (subject to any applicable regulatory approval); and to modify or cancel any tournament (subject to any applicable regulatory approval), provided that such alteration or modification shall not materially alter or change any prize already awarded to an entrant. Notice of any such alteration or modification is sufficient if posted at SKYCITY's premises.
